I made a video for Dost. Rest in peace, my friend.
My friend Dost, Dostmotherknowyou.tumblr.com, passed away a few days ago.
I am really upset, as are a lot of other people, and I really hope that they are at peace.
Dost was a nerd. They were a huge nerd and they were really cool and amazing. They were kind, loving, and a fantastic person all around. Dost loved several people and loved several things. They were so full of life that it’s so hard to see this candle go out. Dost goes by he/him or they/their pronouns, so please respect that.
Dost suffered from Stage IV Colon cancer. Towards the end, they had to be hospitalized and they were really sick. They took a hiatus from their blog, thinking they’d come back when they were better, but they never got that chance. They passed away on Aug 27th because of cancer. Word got out on August 29th.
I chose this song because Dost loved Panic! At the Disco. I remember when This Is Gospel’s music video came out and I was sent the video several times, told to look, because they were so excited. So I thought the memorial video would’ve been perfect with that song.
Dost loved everyone. There was nothing but kindness from them. They were a fantastic person and just.. it’s so hard. It’s going to be so hard without them, but they are no longer in pain. They are finally cancer free.
now this is what i like to see… if i’m gonna buy some fancy new Strong Product i wanna see it beat the weaker version of itself into total useless garbage…… its called innovation and i’ve never been so happy to be a capitalist…
